This guitar-synth duo from Brooklyn, with their "Transformers"-esque logo, takes listeners into an entirely new dimension of the breakdown. Their latest album, LP3, due out July 8, 2008, has already made an intergalactic splash. The hit single, 'Mirando', is a futuristic trip to the bazaar that quickly turns into the greatest PacMan dance party of all time. The music video also wisely utilizes clips from Predator, a highly advanced decision. Additionally 'Shiller' is like a sped-up time line of mankind as seen from an alien race-- it comes gloriously out of the rain as it builds civilization, then it is immersed in raging battle for centuries, set to a roaring guitar solo. At last, the extraterrestrial realizes it has no place here and pulls away in slow motion, rightfully leaving the futuristic endeavors to RATATAT.
