Dude, Don't Get a Dell!

Jeff Luppino-Esposito and Stelios Phili EDITORS
Today we received yet another pathetic attempt from our friends at Dell to overturn our ruling that once you go Mac, you never go back. Even Mac's satirical "PC Guy" was a better way to advertise for Dell computers than this puma-promoting, moped-riding, warcraft-loving, highlighted-hair son of a bitch. Does Dell actually think our collegiate generation looks even remotely like this photograph? "No Mom! Don't buy me an Apple, I don't want to record music with user-friendly software, and easily edit all my home videos from the comfort of my desk chair! I want to make badass spreadsheets like this guy!" How could a company that has become such a recognizable household name have a marketing campaign that is so distant from its target audience? Any intelligent person (that means you, PopSense reader!) could throw together an exponentially more effective advertisement with a few colored pencils and some leftover hamburger grease.
Oh yeah, and to see more of Steve Jobs' wet dreams in the form of the inside picture from this very same Dell advertisement, click here -
