Sunday Question
Occasionally on the "Pokemon" television series, Ash Ketchum would pass up opportunities to catch extremely rare Pokemon in favor of allowing them to roam free and be left alone in their natural habitat. This usually caused the average 10-year-old viewer to curse wildly with disappointment. Realistically, these decisions were incredibly ironic considering the fact that Ash's entire life revolved around enslaving small creatures for battle and keeping them locked up in little 'pokeballs' that were about 1/16 their actual size. Do you think the writers were pressured into giving Ash these sudden spurts of humanity, or were they just inconsistent and foolish? Do you think Pokemon taught kids a bad message about dominating the helpless creatures of the world for personal pleasure? Finally, who was hotter: Misty, Jesse, Nurse Joy, or Officer Jenny? Leave your answer below in the comment section!

nah, it taught a great message, that mankind rules all!
Also, the writers were probably just trying to make Ash look like a nice guy even though he was sorta a little shit.
    And please, Nurse Joy 100%

haha, I guess that was a bad message after all lol, never really looked at it like that!

hmm, if I had to, I'd say Jesse, she was fierce!

Eh, those little poke things loved fighting anyway, it's not abuse if you like it lol... oh god that's terrible.

I love how the sunday question destroys all innocence in my childhood lol.

Those japanese writers had no clue what they were doing, but we loved it haha.

Nurse Joy definitely was a babe. Poor Brock had no chance.

I love pokemon! He's Ash Ketchum, he do what he wants!

Jesse is too feisty for me, lock me up Officer Jenny!

hmm, this question then suggests that there is a pokemon hierarchy. The rare pokemon can be looked at as "aristocrats," or rather, "aristomon." Ash's refusal to capture this pokemon was not an act of humanity - it was genuine deference to the upper echelons of pokemon society. Who would care if we captured a shit-head diglet? Articuno, on the other hand, is meant to roam free.

Totally Misty. She was by far the kinkiest of the three - the short shorts, the side pony tail, the tinsy bit of temper - this all translates into one excellent night in bed. Ash just couldn't handle it, he was a little bitch. Jesse is a runner-up, but I imagine she would be too into dominatrix.

I thought Pokemon taught us kids some good lessons about Darwinism. Also, those things drove everyone crazy. I don't care how "cute" you thought Jigglypuff was, all of them were practically asking to be locked up.

I always thought Ash would try to sweet talk Nurse Joy with that (sexy?) chain-smoker's voice of his. Is it too late to start a facebook group for the two of them?
