In what I can only call a shocking turn of events, the short-spoken Tony the Tiger pulled out a last minute win in this one. To my complete surprise, Toucan Sam was rocking the top spot throughout the length of this extended poll, but the fruity flier had his feathers plucked in the final seconds by the striped wonder, Tony. In what was an all-around eye-opening poll, the coked-up Trix Rabbit slipped to third, and the Cap'n himself dropped to a disappointing last place. I was completely in support of popculture expert Sarahspy in expecting essentially the exact opposite results, so if this post seems disorganized, it's a result of my utter astonishment... that or my inability to focus while watching DVDs of Spongebob that I somehow forgot I owned until right now. Coming up tomorrow we'll be making broad, inappropriate generalizations about the poll results from the month of July in hopes of updating our equally vague results from the month of June.
