This is how people lose hope in life.
So this weekend, as I do during the second weekend of December every year, I decided to listen to a popular album on loop for 48 straight hours while ignoring all other forms of media and bodily needs. This year, by chance, it was Kanye West's 808's and Heartbreak. As you all know, I'm good friends with Kanye, we quote him all the time, and we were the first to break the news of how much he truly loves white people. With all that in mind, I bathed in the autotuned glory of 808s in the name of music-blogging glory. I denied all basic human requirements; no sleeping because I might not be able to hear it over my dreams, no eating because I need my mouth to taste the beast. I walked the streets challenging passers-by to dance offs and wearing my shutter shades at night. Nobody was gonna break my Kanye spirits. But then, about 3 minutes ago, after cooling off a bit, I decided to begin communicating with the outside world once again. At which point, to my total shock and non-foreshadowed disbelief, something terrible happened. I saw this video. Why? WHY?!?! Couldn't he just have lipsynced!? Or at least if he's gonna sing it, he's gotta TRY to hit the notes... use a falsetto damnit, I don't care! This friendship is over.




Oh but then my day (all 20 minutes of it) got slightly better when I found out that Lily Allen covered Womanizer. Then it got even better when Luis of PMA put out an open invitation for Womanizer covers that he will give publicity to. You all know damn well that Stelios and I will be recording that within the next 24 hours.
