I usually have a way with being a terrible music blogger and ignoring most of the things that come pouring into my inbox (note to self: I really really need to stop doing this), but I was lucky enough to accidentally click on this number and find a frighteningly pleasant video and track from a very unique 'Fol Chen'. The California band won't have their debut album out till February (17, 2009, to be exact) but this little taste definitely will be brightening my rainy day. Actually, that's a terrible way to put it. It will actually make my rainy day ten times rainier but in the best sense possible. Look at them, trapped in the dark, faceless grind of societal responsibilities and communism under the guise of early 20th century capitalism! Who's feeling transcendental!? THIS GUY is feeling transcendental. Bring on the Fol Chen!
