Milan Fashion Week has presented men's fashion this year as a bright, bright, BRIGHT summer palette. With psychedelic patterns of colours matched together in ways you would have NEVER dreamt of before, Milan's Fashion Week is dictating that you bitches (men) leave your stiff black suits behind and walk through a kaleidoscope. Apparently, The 50s are back. Throw your cool white-washed/I'm - so - cool - that - I'm - wearing - the - pair - of - jeans - I've - worn - the - last - 5 - years - see? - they're - all - worn - out - and - bleached jeans out of the closet and instead, replace them with tight bright trousers.

Trousers. Trousers with cuffs folded up and zippers that contrast in colour from each side. "Carrot trousers" from Moschino. Bright red. Lime green. Bright red lime green purple brown black all together. Hm.

Floral patterns and simply images of flowers seem to be all over the place too, bold patterns of stripes and checkers, hard linear lines of linearity paired with blossom brooches and skeleton skulls wrapped in a pretty pink bandana. Dolce and Gabbanna's shiny pink suits. Versace's shiny silver suits. Cavali's shiny black satin (bath?) robes. THAT'S THE LOOK OF THE YEAR. Well, this summer. So get it done. Obviously I expect you all to do so with actual style. Be subtle but bold. Do one item at a time in bright colours or patterns. A red scarf on a white t-shirt and dark jeans with a skinny red belt. Match subtle. A marine blue cuff and a shirt with only blue buttons. Etc etc etc you all know.

In other trying hard to break the mould news, Byblos had their models not strutt their stuff but...set up their stuff. The models didn't even walk down the runway and only stood there. Yeah you go girl, you just stand there. You don't have to follow the footsteps of anyone. You make your stand.
