WHO: St. Vincent & Andrew Bird, indie crooner extraordinaire and indie-folk violin pimp extraordinaire.

WHAT: The two will join forces for a nation-wide tour of sexy, sexy music making. And hopefully some love making. Hopefully on stage.

WHEN: September 29 through October 28. Merely a brief tryst, a fleeting romance...

WHERE: The month-long affair will pass through 19 mid- to large-size cities, but plans to flip the bird to the city of Chicago (ba-dum cha). All Annie Clark/Andrew Bird fans in the cornfield-laden Land of Lincoln can disregard the WHERE segment and resume sulking. On a tractor.

HOW: God looked upon the earth and said, “O St. Vincent, go forth and play whimsical music on tour with Andrew Bird. Thou shalt please the masses, and Andrew Bird – thou shalt rip that shit up ever so impressively on the violin. You also shalt whistle.”

WHY (should you know this story?): Because this tour is a convergence of two musicians who make beautiful music, who will make beautiful children, and whose children will in turn make beautiful, whimsical music of their own, and ohhhhh godddddd I want those musical babies.
