As a general rule of female celebrity gossip, more cleavage = more publicity... good or bad. But when a man breaks out some upper chest, the response is either over looked, or in this case, heralded. But why, why is this British wonder and his hairy chest making the news?

At the heart of this breaking news is the fact that Simon Cowell is not what would be deemed a public sex figure... by any stretch of the imagination. Sure, he is a handsom older gentleman no doubt, but for him to be busting out some man cleave puts him at a whole new strata.

What would Kanye say here? Probably something to the effect of, "Simon Cowell, I'm happy for ya, and I'mma let you finish takin your shirt off, but Hugh Jackman has some of the best chest hair of all time. Of ALL TIME!".

But seriously folks, why is the Huffington Post reporting on Simon Cowell's chest hair... and chest tan... at a charity function in London at the Collars and Cuffs Ball at the Royal Opera House?
