Spending those extra few bucks a month to get 'Showtime' suddenly seems more appealing than ever.

The beautiful Eva Amurri, 24-year-old daughter of Susan Sarandon and Franco Amurri, will be appearing on the third season of of Showtime's 'Californication' as 'Jackie' a student/stripper. You remember, just like the girls you knew in high school.

The show's star and executive producer David Duchovny, previously of 'The X Files' fame, is playing the teacher who seems to encounter quite a few highly questionable run-ins with his perfect little student.

In the clip below you'll hear an interview with Eva as she discusses the dark side of pretending to moonlight as a stripper. Move over Daniel Day-Lewis, because Ms. Amurri's stripper bruisesare the new mark of method acting goodness.

The young star goes on to discuss the empowering nature of stripping, the difficulty of the physical task, and her respect for those who take on the profession.

Of course, while the training for the scene is part of the job, the newfound talent is an added bonus since it's always nice to have something to fall back on. Especially in this economy.

Season 3 of 'Californication' begins on September 27.
